Hey!
Uploading samples to the PolyPulse is described here: Network - PolyPulse manual
There is two ways to connect the PolyPulse to a computer. The easiest is probably directly to your computer. If your computer has no ethernet port you can use an adapter (for example one with USB-A or USB-C)
Yes, the inputs can be used to sample audio. I see that I have not put it in the manual yet but I’ve put it on my todo list.
- Open the samples menu by pressing [samples]
- Press [edit]
- Select record audio (scroll with encoder X) and press [yes]
- Select the input you want to record from (scroll with encoder X) and press [yes]
Then it starts recording. You see a VU bar on the top right of the screen. To end recording:
- Go to the samples menu again and press [edit]
- Select stop recording
The recording will be stored in the folder recordings with a random file name. After recording has stopped it asks if you want to load the audio file that was just recorded. If you press [yes] you can add samples to a list and then use that list in the sound engines.
