0.3.6: Fast reverb

Hey all,

A small update with optimizations to reverb and fixed MIDI sync!

Highlights:

  • Reduced CPU usage of reverb:
    • color settings clean/lossy/noisy from 9% to 7.3%.
    • color 14-bit/12-bit from 12% to 7.5%.
  • Added option to change the order audio effects within a track’s FX chain.

Other changes and bugfixes:

  • Added visualization for glitch bits algo.
  • Fixed MIDI in sync not working.
  • Fixed reverb color settings lossy and noisy not working.
  • Fixed reverb filter not working.

Here is the new firmware: polypulse-firmware-0.3.6.zip (1019.4 KB)

See here how to update your PolyPulse. Note that the file manager only recognizes *.zip files whose name starts with polypulse-firmware- as firmware updates.

I realized today that this 0.3.5 update broke reverb’s filter parameter and it was a simple fix. As it is the only change, I’ve replaced the 0.3.5 download link with a fixed firmware. (0.3.6)
