If I am correct, pulse one always has precedence regarding polyphony limitation. It is indeed interseting as a compositional tool, but I think it would be even better if you could easily choose which pulse has precedence (I am looking at those unused keys on the numpad).
It would allow for quick variations. Also since you can choose the octave on a per pulse basis, you often end up having, say, one pulse at 0, one at -1 etc. In this context, being able to choose which pulse has precedence could be especially relevant.
