dBFS Peak Meter or readout display

Would be useful to have a mean (Peak Meter/Readout display) to know exactly the level (in dBFS) at the master outputs of the Polypulse.

Hi

I also think that it would be great to have a dBFS peak meter for audio inputs in the future.

Absolutly, sorry i forgot that one.

So output level metering could be placed in the output FX chain window on the left (where normally there is the sound engine visual).

I assume this is something you would only look at while setting up and not anymore. What would be a good place where showing the levels would make sense? I feel like overlaying it on top of the normal sequencer/synth/FX views would be a bad idea.

Hi Ward,

Because I m plugging a harp with a HiZ impedance, I wanted to make sure that my volume was right. And knowing how much gain i have to add in the Level in input.
Maybe HighZ instrument isen’t recommanded. I just want to make the noise as quiet as I can.

Yes it is the spot to put it. Like just a realtime Output dBFS number display.
Peakmeter take a lot of space. Just the realtime/actual dBFS number value displayed could do the trick.

But In either way for audio Inputs/Outputs you could also have that information somewhere in Polypulse settings. Like some kind of Polypulse dBFS Submenu or else to display realtime/actual max level reached for audio Inputs and Outputs with the ability to reset it.
