The file manager (in your webbrowser) will now feature a button to open an external display that mirrors the PolyPulse display. You’ll be able to use that on your computer, phone, tablet etc…
Cool, I find the actual display just fine to use, but using a lot the polypulse in tandem with ableton live I can see myself using the mirrored display on the pc.
Basically any device that can run a web browser could be used as display, am I right?
Will it consume some additional cpu power?
I agree, but it can be helpful if you’re not close to the PolyPulse, or for people with reduced eyesight. Also, if you want to make video’s you can screenrecord the browser with the PolyPulse display to get a clean view of the display recorded.
Yes, if it can open the file manager, it should be able to show the mirrored display.
It seems to add about 0.5% CPU usage (when active)
