First of all congratulation for the work you ve done.
I m practising everyday my polypulse. I Can’t wait for the cue fonction to be implemented.
Would that be possible to have a “quantize fonction”, particularly for motion seq. For the lenght to fit the tempo. And be able for example to record motion seq on a “4 bars, or 256 steps…”. Or being able to force the motion seq to restart every … steps.
And something I haven’t been able to do : how to delete a motion seq ?
I will look into tempo synced motion recordings and changing/setting the length of motions to beats/steps!
I want to improve the motion recording system in the future (possibly with an editor so you can edit/copy/draw motions) but for now MIDI / CPU / cue system were bigger priorities.
The motion recordings restart when the sequencer of that track resets with seq reset.
You’ll be able to select motion recordings from a cue, with the option to restarting the motion recording from the beginning.
Ah sorry, I see I forgot to put this in the manual. Press [edit]+[morph] and confirm with [yes] to delete a recording.
I m working this morning on polypulse and I m thinking : would that be possible in the future to control via midi (footswith) the transport (blue button) / start stop message ? or any other fonction (for example : go to next cue message when it will be implemented)
I know your polypulse is built for DJs wich has hand free, but for musicians this would be a great to be able to access such feature with feets.
Most encoder parameters can already be MIDI learned ([edit] + press the encoder), however clock, pattern, note list, cue and morph are indeed still missing. I have written adding MIDI learn to those on my todo list!
Yes, I see the MIDI learn functionality now. I must have missed when you added it. I suggest adding the string “MIDI learn” into the documentation so that it can be found via search.
