very nice tool! when i saw your video i knew i wanted to try it. you should do very well! its way fun to use.
so i intended to make some wavetables for my polyend tracker+, my blofeld, and some plugins i have like serum and vital, pigments etc. im sure that was the intention. but so far i have only been able to get one to play right in vital. i had limited time so havent tried everything yet but the frame seemed to be off at least in tracker+. does pitch get rendered? i would love to see an indicator of what setting the sliders are set to if possible!
also im not sure what a few of the parameters are doing and why they stop at limits, like the ‘table size (bits)’ will there be a simple manual?
what is ‘clm chunk’?
maybe you could have a list of various synths and their requirements, or even presets?
i hope you add more modification tools over time! its great so far!
2048 samples per cycle (set table size to bits to 11)
256 cycles
Format: wav
Encoding: 32-bit float
Can you try that and see if that works? I think this should work for the plugins and the tracker+, but maybe not for Blofeld.
‘clm chunk’ is a specific to Serum. It adds a bit of metadata to the wave file.
Yes, I’m working on adding export presets for various devices. Not all manufacturers are very clear about what requirements their devices have so it takes a bit of digging to compile a list.
do you plan to offer additional dsp functions to roll into wavetables? like other waveforms and effects? i suppose we could also use vital or serum to add additional coolies. but its so fun to use your tool, id love to stay in it!
but bravo, im very excited to use it more. i bet you could add flavors and get a bunch of loyal users.
